Gal’s guide: what to wear to a fall sporting event

This little blog of mine has taken on a life of it’s own and I’m so thankful that my hobby has allowed me to meet and collaborate with so many wonderful people.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to those of you who keep coming back to see what I’m up to, get a major dose of sass and a side of style inspiration. I’ve enlisted help from someone who’s just as smart as she is stylish, meet Natasha. Tash will be providing honest reviews, coverage from local Boston events and much more style inspiration. Last week, she filled in for me at the first-ever New England Revolution beer tasting.

Game day outings call for easy (yet warm) toppers. I consider a tan trench coat an absolute must-have, you’ll always look put together, even if you’re just in jeans and tee, or in this case a chunky sweater. Pair that comfy sweater with dark, skinny denim to create some balance. By going neutral with your basics you can have some fun, playing up team colors with your accessories. I’m currently crushing so hard on these fringe booties. They’re so fun and I’ve been able to style them with almost all of my fall outfits. The tassels scream western chic + rocker chick. Plus, they’re super comfy – a real game changer!

London Fog Double Breasted Trench Coat – $178

Free People Arctic Fox Swing Sweater – $96

Gap Brushed Back Legging Jeans – $69

Marc by Marc Jacobs Gotham Tote – $495

Vince Camuto Fianna Tassel Bootie – $158

And, of course, be sure to throw on some team gear.

Next time you’re at Gillette, be sure to grab your gal pals and skip the parking lot party and head right to the DraftKings Lounge at Gillette Stadium where you’ll get to enjoy a variety of brews – from IPA to pumpkin. I got the chance to sample six selections, Stella Cidre was my personal fave!

The Revs had quite the fan base – even in the rain! Fall + sports are the best New England has to offer but maybe I’m just biased.

XO,

Tash
