For Boston Ballet’s opening night of Artifact 2017, I knew I wanted to channel my inner ballerina so when I saw this pleated midi skirt, I immediately fell in love. This $30 skirt is the perfect blend of fun and feminine with it’s black and white stripes that lend itself easily to be worn so many different ways. Pair with a simple white button down, strappy sandals and a silk scarf for an elevated look. Or, for a more casual getup: a jean jacket over a striped tee.
Making my twirl-worthy skirt the focus of my look, I went with simple silk cami. Although Boston has been unseasonably warm (fingers crossed it stays), nights still call for a jacket. I layered on a light grey suede jacket and finished off my look with tassel lace-up heels. I love any and all lace-up shoes, they give your outfit an extra little something.
J.Crew Silk Carrie Cami – $98
SL8 Suede Moto Jacket – $99.99

Be sure to check out Boston Ballet’s Artifact at the Opera House – showing until Sunday, March 5th. It’s dreamy, inspiring and totally brought me back to my dancer days. Visit bostonballet.org for tickets and twirl the night away.
