gift guide 2017: goodies from the grommet

The Grommet Natick Newbury street Holiday gifts Boston
Looking to support small, independent makers this holiday season? Look no further, we’ve rounded up our favorite goodies from Somerville-based, The Grommet in our gift guide below.

Way back in the day, when I was working at Boston.com we did a really cool sponsored content program with The Grommet (then The Daily Grommet) where we encouraged local makers to compete to have their product launched by both sites. Being part of that project, getting to meet and empower local makers, was so special. I’ve been a huge fan ever since.

The site carefully curates it’s makers and products, referred to as “Grommets”.  Even better? I love that you can choose to shop the site with personal values in mind, think “Made in the USA” and sustainable items.

For this round up I gravitated towards grommets that are practical, foodie/wellness themed and just plain fun and unexpected. All items are under $60. Click around to meet their makers and see their stories!
