Its the most wonderful time of the year — and that means its snail mail season. I absolutely LOVE receiving snail mail, that isn’t a bill of course! It’s so unexpected these days and really means a lot knowing the person sending put thought into writing out your card and dropping it in the mail. I wish more people sent cards and letters, it’s so thoughtful. This year I teamed up with Basic Invite to send a gold foil, wedding thank you holiday card to our friends and family.
If you don’t know about Basic Invite, you really need to put them on your radar for all things paper goods. Beyond super high quality printing and paper, they have the most responsive customer care team (you can chat with them as you create your designs) and a few more things worth mentioning:
Almost Unlimited Colors – Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.
Custom Samples – you can order a printed sample of your actual invitation or card so you can see exactly how it will print and feel without having to place your oder first.
Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes – you can choose from over 40 different peel and seal envelope colors, no licking required!
Address Capturing Service – Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. Even better, Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders.
Foil – available in gold, silver, and rose gold. Customers can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs.
At first I felt a little weird about doing a combo wedding thank you holiday card. But the timing was right, we had the most beautiful wedding photos and in the spirit of being as green as possible (we didn’t send wedding invitations — we did those online), one card was just perfect for us. These are by far the prettiest holiday cards we’ve ever sent. The quality is superior, the paper and the printing are all perfect. Last year, I ordered from another site and I was so disappointed with the quality of the printing, I had to trash them and re-order. It was so !
Right now Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon code: holi30
Have you send your holiday cards out?
P.S. This post was made in partnership with Basic Invite. All thoughts are my own and as always, do not partner with brands I don’t 100% stand behind for ethics and quality.
